Our material is a high molecular weight biopolymer grade that processes easily on conventional extrusion equipment. The rigidity and good flavor and aroma barrier of our material complement the properties required for rigid food packaging. With the emphasis on delivering sustainable products, Back to Basic has developed a unique solution for paper board coating products. A truly compostable/fully biodegradable additive (impact modifier) which comprises of biodegradable material and could be coated onto paperboard. It biodegrades within a few years, leaving no harmful residues in environment. These biopolymers correspond to the regulations of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (94/62/EC) and their composability is certified according to EN 13432. Biodegradable coating on sheets/ paperboard packaging materials are very promising systems for the future improvement of food packaging. Made from non GMO starch which reduce our dependence on petroleum resources. High melt strength & excellent process ability on conventional LDPE blown film lines. Typical thicknesses are 15-120μm. Our material could be mixed with biodegradable color master batch, and it provides excellent printing quality without pre-corona treatment.
Polylactic acid melt blown fabric is made of modified polylactic acid chip raw materials, and the fine stream of polymer melt extruded from the nozzle hole of the die is drawn by high-speed hot air flow, thereby forming ultra-fine fibers and collecting them in the condensation net. On the curtain or roller, it is bonded to itself to become a melt-blown non-woven fabric. The production process is mainly as follows: preparing polylactic acid slices, melting, filtering, metering, extruding the melt from the spinneret, drawing and cooling of the melt through the trickle, and forming a net. Polylactic acid melt blown fabric has excellent properties and can be widely used in air, liquid filter materials, isolation materials, absorbing materials, mask materials, thermal insulation materials, oil absorbing materials and wipes. Such as disinfection wipes, surgical gowns, medical gauze, surgical drapes, wound dressings, medical curtains, mask inner core and surface layer, facial masks, makeup removers, etc., It can also be used in major catering and hotel fields, such as high-end hotel tablecloths, guest room special PLA underwear, PLA towels, bath towels, etc. Furthermore, it can also be used as a synthetic leather base cloth for industrial clothing, filter materials, etc.
